The game in Kormend was also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Atomeromu (1-4) played at the court of fifth ranked Kormend (2-3). Kormend did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 95-77. Kormend dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 32. Kormend forced 19 Atomeromu turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-88, college: UTRGV) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Petty is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Troy Barnies (200-89, college: Maine) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Donald Robinson (193-89, college: W.Virginia Tech, agency: HMS) added 20 points and 6 steals in the effort for Atomeromu. Five Kormend and four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kormend moved-up to fourth place in Division. Atomeromu at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
