Regular Season Round 2: Atomeromu - MAFC 94-86

Atomeromu used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Budapest 94-86. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American forward Cameron Forte (201-93, college: Portland St., agency: Octagon Europe) notched 26 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and the other American import Matt Tiby (203-92, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) supported him with 21 points. Atomeromu's coach Gediminas Petrauskas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by India-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (201-87) did not help to save the game for MAFC. Croatia center Matija Poscic (206-85, college: De Paul) added 23 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Atomeromu will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. MAFC will play at home against Alba (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
