Regular Season Round 4: Falco KC - Atomeromu 113-81

Everything could happen in Szombathely at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Falco KC and 10th ranked Atomeromu had identical 1-2 record. This time Falco KC used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Paks 113-81 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Falco KC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 22 and made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Falco KC forced 19 Atomeromu turnovers. Quite impressive performance for American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) who helped to win the game recording 44 points (!!!) and 5 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). The other American import point guard Lester Medford (178-93, college: Baylor, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Falco KC players scored in double figures. American power forward Matt Tiby (203-92, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Lithuania guard Laurynas Samenas (192-88) added 17 points in the effort for Atomeromu. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Falco KC went down to fifth position due to points difference, which they share with Kaposvari and Jaszberenyi. Loser Atomeromu dropped to the twelfth place with three games lost. Falco KC will face Szedeak (#13) in Szeged in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Atomeromu will play on the road against Kaposvari and hope to win that game.
