Regular Season Round 5: PVSK Pannon - KTE-Duna 77-69

KTE-Duna (1-1) recorded its first loss in Pecs. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked PVSK Pannon (2-1) 77-69. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-11. But KTE-Duna won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PVSK Pannon made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Bosnian center Ismet Sejfic (208-93) nailed 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four PVSK Pannon players scored in double figures. American guard Rod Camphor (191-92, college: SW Oklahoma St.) came up with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) added 19 points respectively for KTE-Duna in the defeat. PVSK Pannon moved-up to sixth place. KTE-Duna at the other side dropped to the ninth position with one game lost. PVSK Pannon will play against higher ranked Kormend (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KTE-Duna will play against Kaposvari (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.
