Leader UMMC Ekaterinburg blasted bottom-ranked MBA (0-4) in Ekaterinburg 84-41 on Sunday evening keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. MBA is still unable to win any game. UMMC Ekaterinburg dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to MBA's 24. UMMC Ekaterinburg forced 33 MBA turnovers. Spanish forward Alba Torrens (188-89) nailed 7 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Maria Cherepanova (190-87) accounted for 14 points and 5 steals. Elizaveta Bratchikova (190-96) came up with 6 points and 7 rebounds and Alexandra Marchenkova (182-94) added 7 points respectively for MBA in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
