Regular Season Round 7: Pully - Bellinzona 68-58

Another exciting game was between seventh ranked Pully and 4th placed Bellinzona where host Pully (2-4) won against Bellinzona (3-3) 68-58. It looked good early as Bellinzona took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Pully took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 10 points. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Kristina King (180-92, college: Richmond) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Asia Logan (184-92, college: Pittsburgh) contributed with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. King is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Center Jasmine Hines (192-93, college: Michigan St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Chanise Jenkins (165-92, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management) added 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals in the effort for Bellinzona. Pully maintains seventh place with 2-4 record. Bellinzona at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Aarau and Geneve Basket. Pully will play against BBC Troist. (#8) in Troistorrents in the next round. Bellinzona will play at home against Winterthur (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
