Everything could happen in Omsk at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Neftyanik and 6th ranked Samara had identical 3-3 record. This time Neftyanik used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Samara 75-58. Neftyanik made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Samara turnovers. Power forward Viktoriya Edomakha (187-95) notched 14 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Kseniya Chinaeva (180-89) supported her with 16 points. Four Neftyanik players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 7 rebounds by forward Evgenija Kozhevnikova (182-81) did not help to save the game for Samara. Swingman Yana Matveeva (186-92) added 8 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Neftyanik (4-3) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with MBA-2. Samara lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with four games lost.
