Regular Season Round 9: Stroitiel Engels - Tambov 63-54

Third defeat of league's leader Tambov (6-3) against third ranked Stroitiel Engels (6-3) 63-54 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a good game for guard Anton Ageev (191-84, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. Power forward Aleksandr Zaykin (206-84) contributed with 10 points for the winners. Stroitiel Engels' coach Alexander Gutorov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Nikita Gresev (204-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and guard Yury Pershin (194-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Tambov.
