Regular Season Round 9: ZTE KK - Falco KC 90-82

The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked ZTE KK's (5-3) home victory over 8th ranked Falco KC (4-5) 90-82. It looked good early as Falco KC took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then ZTE KK had a 30-18 second period charge getting the lead and Falco KC was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-90. 24 personal fouls committed by Falco KC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (203-90) accounted for 21 points and 13 rebounds. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) came up with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Belarusian-Russian Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85) added 23 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Falco KC in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ZTE KK moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Szolnok and PVSK Pannon. Falco KC at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. ZTE KK's next round opponent will be Vasas (#13) in Budapest and are hoping to win another game. Falco KC will play at home against Kaposvari (#3) and hope to win that game.
