Regular Season Round 10: Vasas - ZTE KK 87-96

Date: December 6, 2016
Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Vasas (1-9) lost to fourth ranked ZTE KK (6-4) in Budapest 87-96 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-87. Quite impressive performance for American guard Julian Norfleet (188-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) contributed with 12 points and 8 assists for the winners. Five ZTE KK players scored in double figures. American point guard Ronnie Taylor (187-81, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 25 points and 9 assists and his fellow American import forward A.J. Pacher (208-92, college: Wright St.) added 27 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Vasas. ZTE KK have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory ZTE KK went down to fifth position due to points difference, which they share with Kaposvari. Vasas lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. ZTE KK will face Sopron KC (#8) at home in the next round. Vasas will play again against ZTE KK (#6) and hope to win that game.
