An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 5th ranked Swiss Central in a game versus Lausanne (#8) 83-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Swiss Central. The game without a history. Lausanne led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American guard Anton Wilson (196-94, college: Detroit Mercy) nailed 26 points for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Karl Cochran (185-92, college: Wofford) accounted for 21 points and 4 assists. Bulgarian forward Veselin Veselinov (202-83, college: W.Virginia St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian guard Nemanja Kovacevic (194-85) added 19 points and 7 assists respectively for Swiss Central in the defeat. Four Swiss Central players scored in double figures. Lausanne (4-5) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Lugano Tigers. Loser Swiss Central dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Geneve Lions. Lausanne will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Swiss Central will play against the league's leader Monthey (#1) and hope to secure a win.
