Regular Season Round 10: Fribourg - Pully 72-58

Leader Fribourg delivered the eighth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Pully (3-6) 72-58. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-58. It was a great shooting night for Fribourg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The former international forward Alexia Rol (181-89) fired 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American center Bethany Doolittle (191-93, college: Iowa, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Asia Logan (184-92, college: Pittsburgh) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Kristina King (180-92, college: Richmond) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Pully's coach Eric Bally rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fribourg (8-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Pully at the other side keeps the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with BBC Troist. and Bellinzona. Fribourg are looking forward to face BBC Troist. (#8) in Troistorrents in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pully will play at home against Geneve Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
