We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Bellinzona (3-6) was defeated at home by eighth ranked BBC Troist. (3-6) 73-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. BBC Troist. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Hungarian center Andrea Hajdune Csaszar (196-82, college: Kent St.) had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French point guard Melanie Devaux (170-92) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Chanise Jenkins (165-92, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management) responded with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her eight free throws) and her fellow American import center Jasmine Hines (192-93, college: Michigan St.) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. BBC Troist. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pully and Bellinzona. Bellinzona lost fifth consecutive game. BBC Troist. will meet league's leader Fribourg on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Bellinzona will play against Aarau (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
