Leader Monthey delivered the eighth victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Lausanne (4-6) 91-83. Lausanne was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 50-39 second half run of Monthey. Five Monthey and four Lausanne players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Monthey. They maintain first place with 8-2 record, which they share with Fribourg. Newly promoted Lausanne keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Boncourt. Monthey will play against league's second-placed Fribourg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lausanne will play against Starwings (#4) in Basel and hopes to get back on the winning track.
