Regular Season Round 10: Dynamo NR - MBA 62-75

We should mention about the upset which took place in Novosibirsk, where higher ranked Dynamo NR (6-6) lost at home to tenth ranked MBA (3-6) 62-75. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) notched 18 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Elizaveta Bratchikova (190-96) supported her with 16 points and 7 rebounds. MBA's coach Aleksandr Diracujan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds by American center Latoya Williams (192-87, college: Chipola JC) did not help to save the game for Dynamo NR. Galina Kiseleva (183-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. MBA moved-up to eighth place. Dynamo NR at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. MBA's next round opponent will be higher ranked Spartak Vidnoye (#7) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
