The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Novosybirsk (10-3) in Surgut on Friday night. Visitors were edged by fourth ranked Universitet-Yugra (9-3) 97-95. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Four Universitet-Yugra and five Novosybirsk players scored in double figures. Universitet-Yugra have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Samara-SGEU. Novosybirsk at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Universitet-Yugra is looking forward to face Irkut Irkutsk (#4) at home in the next round. Novosybirsk will play against MBA Moscow and is hoping to win this game.
