The game in Neuchatel supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Swiss Central (5-6) played at the court of seventh ranked Neuchatel (6-5). Neuchatel smashed Swiss Central 97-66 on Friday. The game without a history. Neuchatel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Neuchatel outrebounded Swiss Central 39-20 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Neuchatel especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Swiss Central's players. The winners were led by the former international Brian Savoy (189-92) who scored that evening 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American power forward Juwann James (198-87, college: JMU) supported him with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Neuchatel players scored in double figures. Even 8 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Rhamel Brown (201-92, college: Manhattan) did not help to save the game for Swiss Central. Bulgarian forward Veselin Veselinov (202-83, college: W.Virginia St.) added 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neuchatel have a solid three-game winning streak.
