Winterthur was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 19-9 charge of Geneve Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Winterthur turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Jalinka Michaux (172-87) who scored 18 points and 4 assists. American power forward Toia Giggetts (183-92, college: JMU) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
