We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Vladivostok where 5th ranked Spartak-Prim. (8-5) was defeated by sixth ranked Sakhalin (8-5) 89-79. It was a good game for international Artem Komolov (194-93) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 5 rebounds. The former international power forward Artem Yakovenko (205-88, agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Sakhalin's coach Eduard Raud allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Andrey Mateyunas (180-88) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Spartak-Prim.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sakhalin moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Spartak-Prim. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
