Regular Season Round 13: Kaposvari - Szedeak 89-94

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Kaposvari (8-5) against seventh ranked Szedeak (7-6) on Saturday night. Host Kaposvari was defeated by Szedeak in a tough game in Kaposvar 89-94. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kaposvari. Kaposvari was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 35-26 charge of Szedeak, which allowed them to win the game. Kaposvari was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) stepped up and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (198-80) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side the former international power forward Roland Hendlein (206-86) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Marton Fodor (192-81) scored 23 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Kaposvari's coach Adam Fekete rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Szedeak have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 7-6 record, which they share with Szolnok. Kaposvari at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Falco KC and PVSK Pannon. Szedeak will play against league's second-placed Kormend on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kaposvari will play against Sopron KC and hopes to get back on the winning track.
