Regular Season Round 13: ZTE KK - Atomeromu 99-95

No shocking result in a game when third ranked ZTE KK (9-4) beat 12th ranked Atomeromu (3-10) in Zalaegerszeg 99-95 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. ZTE KK made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Atomeromu was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for the former international forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American power forward Matt Tiby (203-92, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import forward Lawrence Gilbert (200-86, college: La-Monroe, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Atomeromu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ZTE KK have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kormend. Atomeromu lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with ten games lost. ZTE KK will face league's leader Alba in Szekesfehervar in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atomeromu will play at home against Falco KC (#5) and hope to win that game.
