There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Kazanochka (4-9) lost on the road to tenth ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (5-9) 62-50 on Sunday. Guard Milana Sumets (185-88, agency: LBM Management) notched 16 points to lead the effort and Canadian point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Enisey Krasnoyarsk's coach Olga Shuneykina used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by American power forward Sarah Boothe (195-90, college: Stanford) did not help to save the game for Kazanochka. Her fellow American import guard Shannon McCallum (177-87, college: Charlotte) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Enisey Krasnoyarsk moved-up to seventh place. Kazanochka at the other side dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will meet at home Dynamo Moscow (#8) in the next round. Kazanochka will play against MBA and hope to secure a win.
