Rather expected game when 9th ranked Kazanochka (4-10) was defeated at home by sixth ranked MBA (6-7) 74-69 on Sunday. MBA forced 20 Kazanochka turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) who scored 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Forward Yana Degtyarskaya (181-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin guard Jelena Vucetic (178-93) who recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international swingman Alexandra Stolyar (180-92) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Kazanochka players scored in double figures. MBA maintains sixth place with 6-7 record. Kazanochka lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost.
