Top ranked Alba (12-3) recorded its third loss in Szombathely on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by fifth ranked Falco KC (9-6) 89-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Alba. The game without a history. Falco KC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Alba to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Falco KC made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Alba's players. The best player for the winners was international guard Benedek Varadi (195-95) who scored 23 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falco KC moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Szolnok and Kaposvari. Alba at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Falco KC is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Vasas (#14) in Budapest in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alba will play at home against MAFC (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
