An interesting game for Novosybirsk (14-4) which played road game in Vladivostok against 4th ranked Spartak-Prim. (10-6). First ranked Novosybirsk had an easy win 87-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Spartak-Prim.. Novosybirsk shot 61.8 percent from the field. They also forced 21 Spartak-Prim. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Sergey Tokarev (189-85) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 9 assists and power forward Aleksandr Lavnikov (205-91, agency: Alti Sport) who added 12 points during the contest. Point guard Andrey Mateyunas (180-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists and American forward Justin Martin (198-90, college: SMU, agency: Interperformances) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Five Novosybirsk and four Spartak-Prim. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Novosybirsk have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-4 record. Spartak-Prim. at the other side dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. Novosybirsk will play against Khimky-Podmoskoye (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Spartak-Prim. will play against Ural Ekaterinburg (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
