Very predictable result in Paks where fifth ranked Kaposvari (12-6) beat 12th ranked Atomeromu (5-13) 82-78 on Saturday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-17. But Atomeromu won second period 23-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) scored 26 points to lead the charge for the winners and American-Liberian point guard Jaytornah Wisseh (185-88, college: LIU Brooklyn) chipped in 18 points and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Talor Battle (182-88, college: Penn St., agency: Two Points) with 23 points and 6 assists and his fellow American import power forward Matt Tiby (203-92, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Kaposvari have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kormend and Falco KC. Atomeromu lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Kaposvari will meet at home KTE-Duna (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Atomeromu will play against the league's leader Alba and hope to secure a win.
