Regular Season Round 26: Dyn-Magn.ChL - Cheb.Yastreby 84-87

The most exciting game of round 26 in the Superleague 2 took place in Cheliabinsk. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Dyn-Magn.ChL (16-12) to second ranked Cheb.Yastreby (19-9) 87-84 in the game for the second place. Cheb.Yastreby forced 23 Dyn-Magn.ChL turnovers. Strangely Dyn-Magn.ChL outrebounded Cheb.Yastreby 41-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Anton Bogdan (198-86) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Stepan Getmanov (200-96) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Point guard Vasiliy Gladyshev (189-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists and center Aleksandr Vertelov (205-91) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Dyn-Magn.ChL players scored in double figures. Cheb.Yastreby have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 19-9 record behind leader Tambov. Dyn-Magn.ChL at the other side keeps the third place with 12 games lost. Cheb.Yastreby are looking forward to face league's leader Tambov at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dyn-Magn.ChL will play against Spartak St.Petersburg and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
