The game in Moscow supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Dynamo Kursk (17-1) played at the court of 5th ranked MBA (8-10). Dynamo Kursk smashed MBA 83-59. Dynamo Kursk dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to MBA's 28 and made 57-of-59 charity shots (96.6 percent) during the game, while MBA only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Dynamo Kursk forced 22 MBA turnovers and outrebounded them 117-35 including a 35-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 29 long-distance shots on high 64.4 percentage. Dynamo Kursk players were unselfish on offense dishing 42 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by MBA's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 23 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish-French center Helena Ciak (197-89) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds. International center Maria Vadeeva (193-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Anna Leshovceva (181-87) answered with 15 points and point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) added 8 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals in the effort for MBA. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Dynamo Kursk. They maintain second place with 17-1 record behind leader UMMC. MBA at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Dynamo Kursk will play against league's leader UMMC Ekaterinburg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MBA will play against Spartak Noginsk (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
