An interesting game for Fribourg (14-3) which played road game in Neuchatel against 3rd ranked Neuchatel (10-6). Second ranked Fribourg had an easy win 89-74. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Neuchatel. The game without a history. Fribourg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Neuchatel's 24. American point guard Justin Roberson (186-93, college: La-Monroe) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Fribourg's coach Petar Aleksic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was the former international Brian Savoy (189-92) with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian power forward Zoran Krstanovic (204-82) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fribourg have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Neuchatel at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Geneve Lions. Fribourg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Neuchatel will play on the road against Geneve Lions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
