No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Kaposvari (13-6) beat at home 9th ranked KTE-Duna (8-11) 80-73. The hosts were already 15 points ahead at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 24-13 last quarter charge of KTE-Duna cut the lead to 80-73 at the end of the game. Kaposvari had a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) fired 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import center Kenneth Simms (205-86, college: Cumberland, agency: Promotex) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) produced 23 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. KTE-Duna's coach Goran Miljkovic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kaposvari have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kormend. KTE-Duna lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. Kaposvari's next round opponent will be league's leader Alba in Szekesfehervar and it will be for sure the game of the week. KTE-Duna will play on the road against ZTE KK (#6) in Zalaegerszeg and hope to win that game.
