Regular Season Round 20: Falco KC - Sopron KC 79-75

Very expected game in Szombathely where 9th ranked Sopron KC (10-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Falco KC (14-7) 79-75 on Wednesday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. Falco KC made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and Belarusian-Russian Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85) who added 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. American guard Brandon Johnson (183-86, college: San Diego, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Gergely Toth (206-89, agency: Interperformances) scored 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Falco KC moved-up to third place. Loser Sopron KC dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Falco KC are looking forward to face KTE-Duna (#10) in Kecskemet in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sopron KC will play on the road against the league's second-placed Kormend and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
