Regular Season Round 20: Falco KC - PVSK Pannon 85-73

Rather predictable result in Szombathely where fourth ranked Falco KC (14-7) defeated 7th ranked PVSK Pannon (11-9) 85-73 on Saturday. PVSK Pannon was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Falco KC dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to PVSK Pannon's 34. They outrebounded PVSK Pannon 47-25 including a 24-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and the other American import guard Drew Barham (198-89, college: Gonzaga) who added 15 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Bosnian center Ismet Sejfic (208-93) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Zoltan Supola (190-88, agency: HMS) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Falco KC moved-up to third place. Loser PVSK Pannon keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Falco KC are looking forward to face KTE-Duna (#10) in Kecskemet in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PVSK Pannon will play at home against MAFC and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
