Regular Season Round 20: Sopron KC - Szedeak 62-54

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Szedeak (9-11) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Sopron KC (10-11) 62-54 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 15-12. But Szedeak won second period 14-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Julien Mills (193-85, college: Ball St., agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Anthony Myles (196-92, college: Rider) who added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The former international power forward Levente Juhos (208-91, college: Moberly Area CC) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) scored 8 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Sopron KC moved-up to eighth place. Loser Szedeak dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Sopron KC are looking forward to face league's second-placed Kormend on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Szedeak will play against Jaszberenyi (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
