Regular Season Round 31: Dyn-Magn.ChL - Tambov 70-79

An interesting game for Tambov (24-8) which played road game in Cheliabinsk against 3rd placed Dyn-Magn.ChL (19-14). First ranked Tambov managed to get a 9-point victory 79-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dyn-Magn.ChL. Tambov forced 21 Dyn-Magn.ChL turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Nikita Gresev (204-88) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Vladimir Chichaykin (187-91) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and center Aleksandr Vertelov (205-91) added 13 points in the effort for Dyn-Magn.ChL. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tambov maintains first place with 24-8 record. Dyn-Magn.ChL at the other side keeps the third position with 14 games lost. Tambov are looking forward to face Spartak St.Petersburg (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dyn-Magn.ChL will play against the league's second-placed Cheb.Yastreby in Cheboksari and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
