American guard Tristan Carey (193-91, college: Longwood) nailed 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized Senegalese power forward Jules Aw (202-86) accounted for 17 points and 15 rebounds. American forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) came up with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Richard Carter (180-92, college: Drake, agency: Inception Sports) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively for Boncourt in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Lugano Tigers. They maintain third place with 13-7 record having just two points less than leader Fribourg. Loser Boncourt keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Lugano Tigers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boncourt will play against Swiss Central (#7) in Luzern and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
