Regular Season Round 23: Kaposvari - Falco KC 94-75

The game between second ranked Falco KC (16-8) and fourth ranked Kaposvari (15-8) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. Falco KC was crushed by Kaposvari in Kaposvar 94-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Falco KC. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-75. It was a great evening for American swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). The former international power forward Roland Hendlein (206-86) helped adding 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Kaposvari players scored in double figures. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and Belarusian-Russian Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Kaposvari maintains fourth place with 15-8 record, which they share with Szolnok. Falco KC at the other side dropped to the third position with eight games lost. Kaposvari is looking forward to face Szolnok (#5) in Szolnok in the next round. Falco KC will play on the road against MAFC in Budapest and is hoping to win this game.
