Regular Season Round 23: Alba - Szedeak 94-70

A Division top team - Alba (19-4) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Szedeak (11-12) in Szekesfehervar 94-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Szedeak. The game without a history. Alba led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Alba especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Ghanian guard Alhaji Mohammed (192-81, college: Louisville, agency: Three Eye Sports) who scored 21 points. The former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 6 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Alba maintains first place with 19-4 record. Loser Szedeak keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Alba will meet league's second-placed Kormend on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Szedeak will play against Vasas (#13) and hope to secure a win.
