Regular Season Round 22: Fribourg - Starwings 90-63

LNA top team - Fribourg (17-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Starwings (9-11) 90-63. The game was mostly controlled by Fribourg. Starwings was better in fourth quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fribourg dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Starwings' 34. They outrebounded Starwings 44-27 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fribourg players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. International forward Natan Jurkovitz (199-95) notched 14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier) supported him with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Fribourg players scored in double figures. Even 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Chris Jones (188-93, college: Angelo St.) did not help to save the game for Starwings. His fellow American import power forward Octavius Brown (206-93, college: Alcorn St.) added 19 points for lost side. Fribourg have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-3 record. Starwings lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Swiss Central.
