Regular Season Round 24: Sopron KC - ZTE KK 74-77

Date: March 19, 2017
A very interesting game took place in Sopron. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 9th ranked Sopron KC (11-14) to sixth ranked ZTE KK (15-9) 77-74 on Sunday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The winners were led by American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) who scored that evening 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Mate Mohacsi (192-90, agency: HMS) supported him with 20 points. Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by American guard Brandon Johnson (183-86, college: San Diego, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Sopron KC. His fellow American import guard Julien Mills (193-85, college: Ball St., agency: HMS) added 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ZTE KK moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kaposvari. Sopron KC at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. ZTE KK's next round opponent will be Jaszberenyi (#12) at home and are hoping to win another game.
