Regular Season Round 25: KTE-Duna - Atomeromu 80-68

Rather expected game when 11th ranked Atomeromu (9-16) lost to ninth ranked KTE-Duna (12-13) in Kecskemet 68-80. KTE-Duna dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard Talor Battle (182-88, college: Penn St., agency: Two Points) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Octagon Europe) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. KTE-Duna have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Szedeak. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. KTE-Duna will play against league's leader Alba in Szekesfehervar in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Atomeromu will play at home against ZTE KK (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
