Another exciting game where seventh ranked Bellinzona (3-1) edged by two points 6th ranked Pully (2-2) 74-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pully. Pully was ahead by 14 points after three quarters before a 26-10 charge of Bellinzona, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Chanise Jenkins (165-92, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. German Lyndi Laborn contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Four Bellinzona players scored in double figures. American forward Asia Logan (184-92, college: Pittsburgh) replied with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and international forward Meline Franchina (184-98) added 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Pully. Bellinzona moved-up to sixth place in Places 6-9, which they share with Riva. Pully at the other side dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Bellinzona will play against bottom-ranked BBC Troist. (#9) in Troistorrents in the next round. Pully will play on the road against Riva in Riva San Vitale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
