Regular Season Round 26: PVSK Pannon - Vasas 79-66

Very expected game in Pecs where 14th ranked Vasas (4-22) were defeated by seventh ranked PVSK Pannon (15-11) 79-66. The game was mostly controlled by PVSK Pannon. Vasas was better in third quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PVSK Pannon forced 22 Vasas turnovers. Croatian forward Veljko Budimir (199-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Zoltan Supola (190-88, agency: HMS) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American forward AJ Pacher (208-92, college: Wright St., agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Vasas. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. PVSK Pannon maintains seventh position with 15-11 record. Vasas lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 22 lost games.
