Very important is a road loss of Falco KC (17-10) against Szolnok (18-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Falco KC was defeated by Szolnok in a tough game in Szolnok 84-92. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 30-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Szolnok shot 26 for 36 from the free-throw line, while Falco KC only scored eight points from the stripe. International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Croatian center Luksa Andric (208-85, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) responded with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Drew Barham (198-89, college: Gonzaga) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Szolnok and four Falco KC players scored in double figures. Falco KC's coach Srecko Sekulovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Szolnok will meet ZTE KK (#5) in the next round. Falco KC will play against Alba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
