Second Stage Round 3: Kaposvari - KTE-Duna 66-73

Very important is a home loss of Kaposvari (16-12) against KTE-Duna (14-15) on Saturday night. Host Kaposvari was defeated by KTE-Duna in a tough game in Kaposvar 66-73. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kaposvari won fourth quarter 15-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KTE-Duna made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four KTE-Duna players scored in double figures. American forward Malik Cooke (201-89, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) came up with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Kaposvari in the defeat. KTE-Duna will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kaposvari will play at home against Szedeak and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
