The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Alba (21-7) in Szekesfehervar on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by ZTE KK (19-10) 90-89. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-89. ZTE KK looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (203-90) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four ZTE KK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Winston Shepard (203-93, college: San Diego St., agency: Diamond Sports) scored 16 points. ZTE KK will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Alba will play at home against Szolnok and is hoping to win this game.
