We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Paks where 11th ranked Atomeromu (11-18) was defeated by twelfth ranked Jaszberenyi (9-20) 75-64 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 17 points at the halftime before their 46-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Jaszberenyi dominated on the defensive end, holding Atomeromu to just 5 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 36 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 14. American guard Brent Arrington (190-92, college: Morehead St.) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Serbian power forward Svetozar Stamenkovic (206-90) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Jaszberenyi players scored in double figures. American point guard Talor Battle (182-88, college: Penn St., agency: Two Points) produced 13 points and 7 assists and Lithuanian guard Laurynas Samenas (192-88) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Jaszberenyi maintains twelfth position with 9-20 record. Loser Atomeromu keeps the eleventh place with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
