We should mention about the upset which took place in Winterthur, where higher ranked Swiss Central (10-13) lost to eleventh ranked Winterthur (3-21) in a road game 68-78. Winterthur made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American guard Jordan Downing (196-92, college: Presbyterian) who scored that evening 22 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Milton Jennings (206-90, college: Clemson, agency: Court Side) supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Winterthur players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by Marco Lehmann (185-93) did not help to save the game for Swiss Central. Swingman Michael Pluess (190-90) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Winterthur maintains eleventh position in Places 7-11 with 3-21 record. Swiss Central at the other side keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. Winterthur will have a break next round.
