Very important is a home loss of third ranked ZTE KK (19-11) against fifth ranked Falco KC (19-11) on Sunday night. Host ZTE KK was defeated by Falco KC in Zalaegerszeg 80-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ZTE KK. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 25-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Falco KC dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to ZTE KK's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) nailed 18 points and 9 assists for the winning side and Serbian center Ivan Zigeranovic (212-84, agency: BeoExcell) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Falco KC moved-up to third place, which they share with ZTE KK and Szolnok. Falco KC will meet at home Szolnok (#4) in the next round. ZTE KK will play against the league's second-placed Kormend and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
