An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Szekesfehervar. First ranked Alba faced 3rd placed Falco KC. Host Alba (23-8) defeated guests from Szombathely (20-12) 93-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Falco KC. Alba made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Falco KC was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah) contributed with 25 points and 8 assists for the winners. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) answered with 16 points and 7 assists and international guard Benedek Varadi (195-95) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Falco KC. Five Alba and four Falco KC players scored in double figures. Falco KC's coach Srecko Sekulovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Alba maintains first place with 23-8 record. Falco KC at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 12 games lost. Alba will play against ZTE KK (#3) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Falco KC will have a break next round.
