The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Alba (23-9) in Zalaegerszeg on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked ZTE KK (22-11) 88-76. The game was mostly controlled by ZTE KK. Alba managed to win third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ZTE KK have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 22-11 record behind leader PVSK Pannon. Alba at the other side still keeps top place with nine games lost. ZTE KK will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Alba will play on the road against Szolnok in Szolnok and is hoping to win this game.
